Author Guidelines

Bhinneka Journal of Multidisciplinary Knowledge (BJMK) welcomes the submission of high-quality manuscripts that contribute to the advancement of knowledge across multiple disciplines. The journal publishes original research articles, review papers, and conceptual studies that have not been previously published and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere.

Manuscripts may be written in English (preferred) or Bahasa Indonesia and must align with the journal’s multidisciplinary focus. All submissions should be made through the Online Journal System (OJS) and must follow the journal’s formatting and ethical standards.

Each manuscript should be structured in a clear and systematic manner. The title must be concise, informative, and reflect the content of the paper. Author information should include full names, institutional affiliations, and the corresponding author’s email address. The abstract, written in English and consisting of 150–250 words, should briefly describe the background, objectives, methods, results, and conclusions of the study, followed by three to five relevant keywords.

The main body of the manuscript should include an introduction that outlines the research background, problem statement, and objectives; a literature review presenting relevant theories and previous studies; a methodology section describing the research design, data collection, and analysis methods; results and discussion that clearly present and interpret the findings; and a conclusion summarizing key insights and providing recommendations or implications.

Manuscripts should be prepared using Microsoft Word format, with Times New Roman font (11–12 pt), 1.5 line spacing, and standard margins. The recommended length of the manuscript is between 5,000 and 8,000 words. Authors are encouraged to use clear headings and subheadings to enhance readability.

All references must follow the APA 7th edition citation style. Authors are expected to include a minimum of 15 references, with at least 70% derived from recent scholarly journal articles published within the last five years. The use of reference management tools such as Mendeley, Zotero, or EndNote is strongly recommended to ensure consistency and accuracy.

Tables and figures should be clearly labeled, numbered consecutively, and accompanied by appropriate titles and sources. They should be placed close to the relevant sections within the manuscript.

BHMK upholds strict ethical standards in academic publishing. All submitted manuscripts will be screened for plagiarism, and the similarity index must not exceed 20%. Authors are responsible for ensuring the originality of their work, proper citation of sources, and the absence of data fabrication or falsification. Where applicable, authors must also provide evidence of ethical approval and disclose any potential conflicts of interest.

All manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo a double-blind peer review process. Based on the reviewers’ evaluations, the editorial team will make a decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts in accordance with reviewers’ comments and resubmit them within the specified timeframe.

Upon acceptance, manuscripts will undergo copyediting and proofreading to ensure clarity, consistency, and adherence to the journal’s standards. Authors will have the opportunity to review and approve the final version prior to publication.

Bhinneka Journal of Multidisciplinary Knowledge operates under an open access policy, allowing all published articles to be freely accessible to readers. Authors retain the copyright of their work, while granting the journal the right to publish and disseminate the article.
