Bhinneka Journal of Multidisciplinary Knowledge (BJMK) is committed to maintaining the highest standards of academic integrity and ethical publishing. The journal strictly prohibits all forms of plagiarism and ensures that all submitted manuscripts are original and properly cited.

Plagiarism is defined as the use of another person’s ideas, words, data, or work without proper acknowledgment. This includes, but is not limited to, direct copying, paraphrasing without citation, self-plagiarism, and duplicate publication. Any manuscript found to contain plagiarism will be subject to immediate rejection.

All submitted manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection software to verify their originality. BJMK applies a maximum similarity index threshold of 20%, excluding references, quotations, and commonly used phrases. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold may be returned to the authors for revision or rejected, depending on the severity of the similarity.

Authors are responsible for ensuring that their work is entirely original and that all sources are properly cited following the journal’s required citation style. Proper quotation and referencing must be used when incorporating ideas or text from other sources.

In cases where plagiarism is detected after publication, the journal will take appropriate actions in accordance with publication ethics standards. These actions may include issuing corrections, retracting the article, and notifying the authors’ affiliated institutions.

BJMK also expects editors and reviewers to be vigilant in identifying potential plagiarism and to report any suspected ethical misconduct during the review process.
