Archiving & Preservation Policy
To maintain the integrity and sustainability of scholarly records, JEMDE applies the following archiving and preservation practices:
-
Digital Archiving
All published articles are stored in the journal’s online system and maintained in the journal database to ensure permanent access. -
Backup and Data Security
The journal regularly performs backups of all journal data, including manuscripts, published articles, and metadata, to prevent data loss caused by technical failures, cyber incidents, or other unexpected disruptions. -
Preservation of Published Versions
Once an article is published, the final version is preserved as part of the journal archive. Any corrections or updates (if necessary) will be clearly documented and managed according to editorial policies. -
Long-Term Access Commitment
JEMDE ensures that all published content remains available to readers without restrictions, in line with the journal’s open access policy. -
Repository and Indexing Support
JEMDE encourages authors to deposit their published articles in institutional repositories, research repositories, or personal academic platforms, provided that the original publication in JEMDE is properly cited.
